Promoting Industry Gender Inclusivity: Bitget’s General Manager, Gracy Chen, at the United Nations Women’s Commission
Cryptocurrency exchange and Web3 company Bitget’s General Manager, Gracy Chen, was selected as a representative to attend the 68th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW68). This is an important conference by the United Nations on gender equality and women’s empowerment. The event took place from March 11th to March 22nd, with the theme of “Addressing poverty and strengthening institutions and financing from a gender perspective, in order to accelerate gender equality and enhance the empowerment of all women and girls.”
Gracy Chen actively participated in discussions on important topics such as empowering youth and women in the age of artificial intelligence, technology, and social media to achieve a sustainable future. These meetings aim to promote inclusivity in cultural, social, and economic aspects, emphasizing the elimination of racism, raising awareness through innovative technology-driven strategies, exploring cultural diversity, and highlighting the role of international cooperation in community communication.
The 68th session of the Commission on the Status of Women provided a platform for governments, civil society organizations, experts, and activists from various countries to come together and reach consensus on actions and investments to eliminate women’s poverty and promote gender equality. The solutions discussed at the conference include policies and programs that invest in addressing gender inequality, improving women’s leadership, and narrowing the gender gap in employment.

This program includes incubation projects, ambassador programs, and blockchain women awards to cultivate the entrepreneurial spirit among women and recognize their achievements in the blockchain and Web3 fields.” Several female industry leaders have already joined this program.
