Prisma Finance Under Attack: Cybersecurity Experts Assess Devastating Restaking Breach, Resulting in Losses Exceeding £10 Million

Prisma Finance, a protocol that claims to be the final destination for mobile re-pledge tokens (LRT), has suffered an attack and has introduced the stablecoin protocol LST (Liquid Staked Token) in addition to LRT token collateral. On the evening of March 28th, the official team stated that they were aware of the attack and that the engineering team is currently investigating and handling the situation.

Security expert and founder of a cybersecurity company, Yu Xian, stated that Restaking has been exploited, resulting in significant losses. In addition to the attack by the original perpetrator, there also seems to be some copycat attackers. It is understood that the protocol has currently lost over 10 million US dollars.
