CoinW Cryptocurrency Platform Continues to Promote Web3 Technology Education Equality by Reaching Rural Areas Again
On March 16th, CoinW, the leading global cryptocurrency platform, and the Taiwan Blockchain Alliance (TBA) held a technology education event titled “Technology Crossing Mountains: AI and Web3 Enlightenment Action” at the Lidra Nan National Experimental Elementary School in Wulai District, New Taipei City. A similar series of events was held at Zhuole Elementary School in Hualien County last September. The purpose of this event is to bring Web3 technology to mountainous and remote areas, promote technological equity, and break the geographical limitations of Web3. Nina, the brand manager of CoinW, expressed the hope that children in remote areas can have the same basic understanding of cutting-edge technology and equal access to learning resources as students in urban areas.
Eleven elementary school students from the Lidra Nan National Experimental Elementary School were divided into groups A and B for the activities. In the morning, they participated in virtual reality (VR) experience and artificial intelligence (AI) workshops respectively, and in the afternoon, they switched. The workshops focused on AI and Web3, and incorporated the concept of a treasure hunt game. During the activities, the children accumulated points by completing various game levels in order to exchange them for souvenirs, which served as motivation for their participation and learning, as well as deepening their understanding of key concepts.
Since entering the Taiwanese market, CoinW has adhered to the principle of using technology for the greater good and actively collaborates with various government, industry, academia, and research organizations. The Taiwan Blockchain Alliance (TBA) is an important partner of CoinW, and through long-term engagement with TBA in technology education series of activities, CoinW hopes to enable children in remote areas to personally understand advanced technologies and applications in the next 5-10 years, especially the promising Web3 and AI technologies, and promote their basic understanding of these technological concepts. CoinW aims to sow the seeds of technology dreams for each student and cultivate their motivation for independent exploration in the field of Web3 technology after the activities.

CoinW’s first market strategy after entering Taiwan last year was to promote deep engagement in education on campuses, hence the collaboration with TBA. The Taiwan Blockchain Alliance is the largest blockchain research and education organization in Taiwan, combining domestic and international resources from government, industry, academia, and research institutions. Currently, it has partnered with 35 domestic colleges and universities’ blockchain research societies and blockchain-related clubs, and continues to cooperate with domestic and foreign government agencies, NGOs, and blockchain-related companies to promote blockchain education in Taiwan.
CoinW has always been concerned about students’ growth and progress. In the rapidly developing field of AI technology, how to promote the adaptation of future human society to new forms is a long-term topic of consideration, and the open-source and popularization of AI is an important direction for the integration of crypto. CoinW actively works with TBA to promote the popularization and development of Web3 technology in remote education, hoping that through this series of activities, children in remote areas can also have access to cutting-edge Web3 technology education resources.
