Ongoing Investigation into ACE Fraud Case Fraud Ring Executives and Operations Subject to Search

The Taipei District Prosecutors Office commanded the Taipei City Investigation Bureau and the New Taipei City Criminal Investigation Division to launch the fourth wave of search operations yesterday. This operation targeted 20 locations and brought back three branch presidents and 17 business personnel of the fraud group for questioning. It was ultimately decided to release one businessperson surnamed Liu on bail of 300,000 NT dollars and restrict their departure from the country. The other 12 business personnel were also released on bail of 100,000 NT dollars and similarly restricted from leaving the country. As for the three branch presidents, they are expected to be transferred to the Northern District Prosecutors Office for further questioning today.
