After the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved an Ethereum spot ETF, the market became more optimistic about the possibility of other mainstream competing coins launching spot ETFs. During the interview, Brad Garlinghouse mentioned XRP, Solana (SOL), and Cardano (ADA), and compared them to commodities, believing that they should not be classified as securities.
He stated:

No one wants to hold just one commodity. If you hold gold, you may also want to hold silver and other exposed assets. That would be reasonable.

Optimistic about XRP, SOL, and ADA becoming ETFs
Brad Garlinghouse stated last week at the CoinDesk Consensus conference that ETFs, including XRP, SOL, and ADA, will be launched in the future and it is inevitable.
Despite facing regulatory obstacles such as SEC lawsuits, Brad Garlinghouse still believes that the regulatory environment is undergoing positive changes, especially in countries such as the UK, Japan, Singapore, and Switzerland, which are ahead of the US. This may lead to changes in the US.
He also discussed the political aspects that affect the cryptocurrency market, including the growing interest in cryptocurrencies by political figures such as the Trump campaign team, which signifies significant changes:
I think cryptocurrencies have become a political issue, which is crazy, but I think Republicans are very strategic in dealing with this issue. It is becoming an electoral issue and is beneficial to the overall industry. I think this is also driving market development.

Competitive coin ETFs still not favored
The possibility of competitive coins launching ETFs is still not favored.
Bitcoin and Ethereum both launched spot ETFs after the introduction of futures contracts on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME). However, market news in May indicated that CME did not have plans to launch SOL contracts.
In addition, Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart has previously stated that the SEC has not only filed lawsuits regarding XRP being a security but also indicated in lawsuits against Kraken and Coinbase that SOL is a security.
He believes that a SOL ETF will happen, but it may take several years.
