WisdomTree Secures NYDFS Limited Purpose Trust Company License, to Issue Gold and USD Tokens
New York State is known as the most stringent regulatory authority, currently granting limited purpose trust company licenses to only ten financial institutions, including Coinbase and Fidelity. Another virtual currency license related to digital assets, regulated under the BitLicense regulations, is held by companies such as Paypal, Robinhood, Circle, Block, and eToro.
