Warning Multiple phishing traps in Telegram accounts may also disappear directly
Telegram continues to launch various “money-making games” to attract many newcomers to the cryptocurrency circle to join its digital asset ecosystem Ton. Yu Xian, the founder of the cybersecurity company SlowMist, stated that due to the freedom of the Ton ecosystem, many phishing links or bots (provided in the form of chatbots by Telegram for different functions) spread through chat groups, deceiving users of their assets in TON wallets under the guise of airdrops.
As Telegram allows users to purchase anonymous virtual phone numbers through bidding to obtain NFTs for registration and use of various services, Yu Xian pointed out that if these NFTs are stolen, the entire Telegram account may disappear. It is recommended that these users enable 2FA (two-factor authentication) to prevent theft.
