Trump accuses China of being a war machine and claims Taiwan has taken away 95 of the chip business Pay the US protection fee

The U.S. presidential election is entering its final countdown, and the two party candidates are actively participating in interviews with various media outlets to express their political views. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump recently spoke at length in a podcast about his views on Taiwan’s semiconductor industry, U.S.-China relations, immigration policy, and domestic energy policy, while openly criticizing fellow presidential candidate Joe Biden and the collapse of the U.S. media. He also lavishly praised Elon Musk for his contributions to technology and freedom of speech.

Trump referred to the U.S. tech industry’s reliance on Taiwanese semiconductors, saying, “The U.S. is not proactive in the chip business. We spend billions to have rich companies borrow money to build chip factories here, and they don’t want to give us good companies. But the U.S. could achieve its goal by taxing chips, the same as the automotive industry.”

He bluntly stated that Taiwan has stolen 95% of the chip business from the U.S. and demanded that the U.S. protect Taiwan by paying a “protection fee.”

Trump also criticized American politicians for their lack of action and suggested that chip companies should voluntarily set up factories in the U.S. to avoid import tariffs.

Describing China as a “giant war machine,” Trump warned of Xi Jinping’s “intelligence and danger.” He expressed concerns about China’s increasing military spending and expansion of influence in Asia and globally, posing a threat to U.S. interests.

Trump emphasized the importance of tariffs as a means for the country to prosper and to counter China, and criticized Biden’s administration for failing to control energy costs.

He supported nuclear energy and advocated for the development of diverse energy sources to ensure a stable supply, while criticizing the collapse of the U.S. media and praising Podcasts and other platforms as sources of truth.

Lastly, Trump praised Elon Musk for advancing technological innovation and freedom of speech, describing him as an “incredible genius” and commending his achievements in the space industry and electric car market.
