Taiwans Largest Telecommunications Company Taiwan Mobile Enters Cryptocurrency Exchange as CEO Lin Zhi Chens Company Becomes Taiwans 26th VASP Operator

On July 5th, the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) website announced the latest list of virtual currency platform operators who have completed their compliance statements for anti-money laundering regulations. Lin Zhi Chen, the General Manager of the major telecommunications company Taiwan Mobile, serves as the responsible person for “Fusheng Digital Co., Ltd.,” represented by Taiwan Mobile as its legal entity. This marks the 26th VASP operator in Taiwan, and naturally, they have become a member of the VASP Association.

According to ChainNews, Taiwan Mobile had been submitting applications for a long time and has finally been approved. Looking ahead, the integration of Taiwan Mobile with exchanges is expected to bring about different scenarios for cryptocurrency applications.

In the past, the Line Group had also launched cryptocurrency exchanges and platform tokens, as well as NFT-related applications. However, due to regulatory constraints and market acceptance, they did not achieve great success.
