OnlyFake, a sophisticated tool capable of generating fake passports, is available for a mere $15 and claims to have successfully passed KYC at multiple exchanges.

Fake ID generation website OnlyFake not only offers fast service, generating fake driver’s licenses in less than a minute, but also charges only $15. It is claimed that OnlyFake has successfully passed the KYC verification of multiple exchanges.

OnlyFake Successfully Scams Exchanges’ KYC
According to a report by 404 Media, the fake ID service OnlyFake claims to use AI-based neural networks and generators to generate fake driver’s licenses and passports. It has successfully passed the KYC verification of multiple exchanges, with a cost of only $15.

OnlyFake supports data forgery services for up to 26 countries, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and several EU countries. Payments can be made through Coinbase using various cryptocurrencies.

The report points out that the UK passport generated by OnlyFake successfully bypassed OKX’s KYC verification, with the passport lying on a bedsheet, just like the shooting technique of an ordinary user.

Foreign media Cointelegraph has also observed on their Telegram channel that OnlyFake users shared their achievements in bypassing the KYC of major exchanges, including Kraken, Bybit, Bitget, Huobi, and PayPal.

It is understood that generating a fake ID on the website takes less than a minute, and an Excel spreadsheet can generate 100 fake IDs at the same time. In addition, OnlyFake also falsifies metadata in image files, such as GPS location, date, time, and device (such as phone or computer).

The owner of OnlyFake, “John Wick,” revealed to 404 Media that in addition to the aforementioned exchanges, these fake IDs can also pass the scrutiny of Coinbase and cryptocurrency-friendly bank Revolut.

OKX spokesperson: Actively cooperating in investigating the report
An OKX spokesperson stated to Cointelegraph that OKX denies any allegations or implications of condoning fraudulent activities and is actively cooperating with the team and external organizations to investigate the report. They stated:

The abuse of AI technology for fraudulent activities is a continuously evolving industry challenge, and OKX is working hard to address this issue.

Cointelegraph claims that apart from OKX, all other exchanges have yet to respond to this report.
