Saudi Arabia and a16z jointly invest $40 billion in the AI industry

According to a report by The New York Times, the Saudi Arabian government announced last week its plan to invest $40 billion in the artificial intelligence (AI) industry and collaborate with renowned venture capital firm a16z. The fund is expected to invest in AI companies, chip manufacturers, and large-scale data centers, among other related enterprises, starting in the second half of 2024.
