The most well-known copyright infringement case involving Yuga Labs and artists Ryder Ripps and Jeremy Cahen of BAYC has resulted in a judgment requiring the latter to compensate the former with 9 million dollars. It is alleged that both artists clearly violated copyright laws, maliciously appropriated trademarks, and profited from them.
