The U.S. presidential election is entering its final countdown, and the two party candidates are actively participating in interviews with various media outlets to express their political beliefs. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump recently spoke at length on a podcast about his views on Taiwan’s semiconductor industry, U.S.-China relations, immigration policy, and domestic energy policy, openly criticizing fellow presidential candidate Joe Biden and the collapse of the U.S. media. He also lavishly praised Elon Musk for his contributions to technology and freedom of speech.

Trump stated that the United States is not proactive in the chip industry and that chips should be subject to the same tax system as automobiles. He accused Taiwan of stealing 95% of the chip business from the U.S. and demanded that the U.S. be compensated for protecting Taiwan’s chip resources.

Describing China as a huge war machine, Trump warned of Xi Jinping’s “clever and dangerous” nature and stressed the need for the U.S. to defend Taiwan to prevent China from exploiting chip resources.

He also criticized Vice President Kamala Harris and the Biden administration, accusing them of lacking leadership and policy consistency. Furthermore, Trump expressed his concerns about Biden’s health and his ability to effectively handle global nuclear issues.

Trump emphasized the importance of energy independence and criticized the Biden administration for not properly controlling energy costs. He also advocated for nuclear energy and the diversification of energy development.

Accusing the U.S. media of being in decline, Trump praised podcasts and other platforms as sources of truth, and he lauded Elon Musk’s contributions to technological innovation and freedom of speech.
