MAS Explicitly Prohibits Local Listing of Bitcoin Spot ETF in Singapore

According to Lianhe Zaobao, as the listing of the spot Bitcoin ETF in the United States has sparked market discussions, the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) has made an important statement regarding this new financial product. It explicitly stated that the spot Bitcoin ETF cannot be listed in Singapore and is not suitable for retail investors in Singapore.
