Joint Statement by Multiple Countries Destroys Infamous Ransomware, LockBit Responds: “You Can’t Kill Me, I Will Continue Operating”
According to the announcement by the National Crime Agency (NCA) of the United Kingdom, the NCA claims to have dismantled the world’s largest Russian cybercrime organization, LockBit. However, members of LockBit have stated in a post that the servers uncovered by the NCA and FBI were only a few unprotected ones, and they will continue to carry out ransomware attacks.
