IMF Recommends Nigerian Authorities Regulate Cryptocurrency Exchanges and Implement Anti-Money Laundering Measures, Instead of Imposing Strict Bans

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) recently released a report stating that Nigeria’s economic situation faces risks. It suggests that incorporating cryptocurrencies into the regulatory framework, along with implementing anti-money laundering mechanisms and further opening up development, will help facilitate local economic growth.
