If Taiwan is invaded, TSMC and ASML will instantly halt semiconductor production

According to a report by Bloomberg, if China were to launch an attack on Taiwan, ASML, a Dutch semiconductor production equipment manufacturer, and TSMC, could remotely shut down TSMC’s world-leading chip manufacturing equipment, the Extreme Ultraviolet Lithography (EUV) machine.
