Venture Capital Sora Ventures Invests in Prominent Media Wu Shuo Blockchain, Founded by Jason Fang: The Media is an Essential Ecosystem
Taiwan’s risk investment company, Sora Ventures, announced on March 29th its investment in Wu Blockchain. Jason Fang, the founder, stated that this investment marks their eighth media/community investment and distinguishes Sora Ventures from others in the industry.
Fang believes that while media generally may not be a profitable business, it is one of the most important industries in the field. Media serves as a way for people to learn and follow the Web3 trend, as well as a means to spread various events and build communities. It also serves as a way for the East and West to connect.
Based on these reasons, Fang expressed their willingness to take on a small financial risk to support, nurture, and connect the entire Web3 ecosystem.
Colin Wu, the founder of Wu Blockchain, expressed great pleasure in having Sora as an investor. They share common values and hope to contribute their small piece to building this grand cathedral.
Sora Summit, the world’s largest Ordinals summit, organized by Sora Ventures, will be held in Taipei on December 13th-14th. Over 100 heavyweight Bitcoin ecosystem speakers, including Casey, the inventor of Ordinals, Domo, the inventor of BRC-20, and Leonidas, the founder of the highly-discussed Runestone, as well as BlackRock Ventures from recent highly-debated discussions, will attend the summit.
Many important figures in the Western Bitcoin ecosystem will come to Taiwan, and it is believed that they will bring new vitality and resources to Taiwan’s blockchain ecosystem.
