Deceased Individuals Receiving Subsidies and Infants Eligible for Loans! Musk’s DOGE: A Call for Comprehensive Reform of Biden Administration’s Flaws, Thanks to President Trump

Elon Musk and DOGE Members Discuss Progress on Budget Cuts

Elon Musk and members of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) were interviewed on March 28, sharing updates on the current progress of fiscal expenditure cuts and how to improve the outdated IT systems, contracting mechanisms, and retirement systems of the federal government. Musk pointed out that the budget-cutting goals are now very clear, with a target of cutting $4 billion in meaningless budget each day.

Clear Budget Reduction Goals: Cutting $4 Billion in Waste Daily

Musk emphasized that the primary goal of entering the government is to cut the annual fiscal deficit of $20 trillion in half and reduce spending from $7 trillion to $6 trillion. “A simple online survey with only 10 questions originally cost $10,000, but the government spent nearly $1 billion,” Musk stated. DOGE aims to reduce $4 billion in waste every day, with a continuous operation seven days a week. While critics argue that this is a scattergun approach, Musk explained, “We are targeting specific areas, not just cutting indiscriminately.”

Revamping the Paperwork Nightmare: Retirement System Stuck in the Mines

Currently, the reform of the federal retirement system is being led by Airbnb co-founder Joe Gebbia, who discovered that the government retirement system still relies on paper-based operations. Gebbia noted that in a defunct mine used by the government in Pennsylvania, there are nearly 20,000 filing cabinets containing a total of 400 million documents. He further pointed out that the complete retirement process currently takes 6 to 9 months and is often calculated incorrectly. The reform’s goal is to fully digitize all operational processes.

Old Systems and Lack of Communication: Fraud is Like a Business

DOGE engineer Arum Mandasi highlighted that systems like the Social Security Administration (SSA) and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) have been in place for over 50 years with high maintenance costs and low efficiency. He cited that the SSA receives a large volume of calls daily requesting changes to bank account information, of which up to 40% are fraudulent calls. Furthermore, the lack of communication between systems allows fraudsters to impersonate deceased individuals to collect unemployment and disability benefits.

One Account Controls National Expenditures, U.S. Treasury Unable to Audit

Tom CR, director of the Treasury reform, stated that the U.S. government currently has only one main payment account, which once held as much as $800 billion, but there is no way to track where the money is spent. The government loses up to $500 billion annually due to fraud and improper payments, and the federal government cannot even pass audits, with serious deficiencies in accounting data. Tom described, “If this were a company, it would be delisted, and executives would be arrested.”

Baby Loan Cases and Living to 120: Loopholes That Are Almost a Joke

DOGE also discovered that the small business loan system had disbursed $300 million to individuals over the age of 120, and another $300 million to “owners” under the age of 11. Even more outrageous, a 9-month-old baby “successfully obtained a loan” because a fraud ring used the infant’s Social Security number. These situations reflect the disconnection between government systems, allowing fraudsters to exploit the system.

No Layoffs, Just Reorganization: Workforce Adjustment Methods Unveiled

Anthony Armstrong, in charge of personnel reform, indicated that the IRS has 1,400 people specifically dedicated to issuing laptops and phones. Assuming each person serves 2 employees a day, they could serve 14 times the total number of IRS employees in a year. To reduce excessive manpower, the reform will adopt gentle measures, including voluntary retirement and early severance packages, with currently less than 0.15% of employees facing compulsory dismissal.

A $1 Billion Contract: Contract Review Reveals Dark Secrets

Former oil company CEO Tyler Hasson is reviewing all contracts from the Department of the Interior and has found that the Biden administration has virtually no review process. He pointed out that the $1 billion online survey case he discovered was found casually during a holiday. DOGE is currently reviewing every expenditure and subsidy, uploading abnormal information to the DOGE website for public access, and will provide real-time queries in the future.

System Overview: 700 NIH Systems Unable to Communicate

At the Department of Health and Human Services, the team discovered that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) alone has 700 IT systems that cannot communicate with each other, along with 27 Chief Information Officers (CIOs). DOGE’s reform plan aims to allocate research funds directly to researchers rather than schools and promote IT system integration to enhance research efficiency and control effectiveness.

More Credit Cards Than Employees: Internal Controls Are Lax

DOGE also found that the federal government issued 4.6 million credit cards, while there are only about 2.3 million employees, exceeding the allowable limit. Currently, 300,000 cards have been recalled. DOGE is promoting stricter card issuance processes and usage reviews, reforming the financial system in line with corporate internal control standards.

External Pressure Continues, Yet Remains Unshaken

Musk and DOGE members indicated that they currently face considerable opposition from Congress, leftist judges, and NGOs, but these dissenting voices do not target specific reform projects; rather, they aim to engage in a war of words. Musk also emphasized that the reform results will ensure that a 94-year-old grandmother can smoothly receive her entitled benefits.

Finally, Musk was asked why he chose to join this battle. He stated, “I feel it is my patriotic duty. If we don’t do this, America will sink.” He further emphasized that the entire reform initiative is possible due to the support of Trump and his cabinet; otherwise, it would not have happened at all.
