Update on Bitcoin Spot ETF: 11 ETFs Possibly Approved at 6 AM Taipei Time on January 11th

Yesterday, there was another frenzy of updates on ETF filings. Wisdomtree, Invesco, Valkyrie, and Bitwise have once again lowered their fees, with a total of 5 issuers offering significant discounts on initial management fees. The market expects the SEC to make a decision on Wednesday evening (1/10). Bloomberg’s ETF analyst, Jamse Seyffart, predicts that 11 Bitcoin spot ETFs will officially launch in the market on Thursday.

According to The Block, VanEck CEO Jan van Eck and Valkyrie both stated in interviews that the SEC will approve Bitcoin spot ETFs at the end of Wednesday’s business day, with trading beginning on Thursday. Bloomberg’s ETF analyst, Eric Balchunas, also provided real-time updates on various data yesterday, indicating that all parties have submitted applications, comments, and resubmitted applications at an unprecedented speed within 24 hours, showing their eagerness for the show to begin quickly. Balchunas also believes that the SEC will announce the results at 4 or 5 pm on January 10th (5 or 6 am on January 11th in Taiwan), and the ETFs will be launched on Thursday (1/11).
