Twitter Posts Rake in Over a Billion Dollars: Pre-Sale Frenzy of 27 Solana Memecoins Raises $122 Million
Recently, the meme coins produced by Solana have caused a frenzy. Among all meme coins on Solana, the trading volume of Book of Meme (BOME) ranks first, surpassing the original meme coin, DOGE.
The current meme coin craze in the market is no longer exclusive to Ethereum. Based on trading volume, BOME, dogwifhat (WIF), BONK, MYRO, and LADYS are all well-known Solana memes, demonstrating Solana’s dominance in the meme coin community. Some even believe that meme coins have driven the strong rise of SOL.

The Meme Presale Frenzy Generates Billions of Dollars
Meme coins may be approaching their peak
Taking BOME as an example, its creator @Darkfarms1 raised 10,132 SOL (approximately $2 million) through a meme coin “presale” on Twitter.
Blockchain detective Zach compiled all the meme coins that conducted presales on Twitter. Among the 27 meme coin projects, a total of over 650,000 SOL (approximately $122 million) was raised.
Interestingly, many of these meme coin projects that raised significant funds have not yet released their coins (token contract addresses do not exist).
Experts have observed that the trading volume of meme coins, especially on Korean exchanges, has started to decline significantly. Overall trading volume has also decreased, indicating that the meme coin frenzy may have reached its peak.

Digital artist Beeple also responded to this trend of selling meme coins through “presales” with an artwork.
