Solscan, the Ethereum blockchain explorer, acquires Solana for enhanced infrastructure.
Etherscan Acquires Solscan
Prominent blockchain data browser Etherscan has acquired Solscan, another popular blockchain explorer on Solana, in order to expand their data services. Etherscan has not disclosed many details about the acquisition but has stated that they will continue to provide neutral and trustworthy blockchain data access services. They aim to integrate more data accessibility for various public chains and support a seamless user experience.
Matthew Tan, the founder and CEO of Etherscan, stated in the announcement that the Solscan team has demonstrated their expertise over the years by providing detailed insights and analysis. Their commitment to making blockchain data more accessible and their proficiency in user-friendliness align perfectly with Etherscan’s mission.
Solscan may be included in Etherscan’s Explorer-as-a-Service (EaaS) product portfolio, which already includes mainstream public chain browsers such as Optimism, Arbitrum, Polygon, Linea, and Scroll.
