Bitget’s Public Education Project Blockchain4Youth Celebrates its First Anniversary! Promoting Blockchain Education to over 6,000 Youth Worldwide.

Leading global cryptocurrency exchange and Web3 company Bitget has announced the one-year anniversary of its Blockchain4Youth program and released a retrospective video of the project. Over the past year, Bitget has upheld its core principles of innovation, education, and empowerment to drive the adoption of Web 3.0 among young people. Bitget envisions a fairer future driven by the cryptocurrency revolution, and the Blockchain4Youth program serves as a testament to this vision.

In the past year, Blockchain4Youth has organized 54 campus lectures and seminars worldwide, attracting over 6,000 participants from Asia, the Middle East, Oceania, Europe, and South America. These courses have provided teenagers with tools and knowledge to understand and utilize blockchain technology, and over 2,000 certificates have been awarded to students who have completed the courses and passed the exams. The most recent campus lecture was held on May 5th in Taipei, Taiwan, in collaboration with the Financial Technology Research Society of National Taiwan University, where Bitget invited CoolBitLab to share industry insights and knowledge, attracting more than 60 participants.

Blockchain4Youth is collaborating with influential figures and over 51 universities, including University College London (UCL) in the UK, the National Technological University of Argentina, RMIT University in Australia, the Financial Technology Research Society of National Taiwan University, and the Manila Yathar University in the Philippines. The extensive influence of this program demonstrates Bitget’s contribution to advancing blockchain education and empowerment.

Blockchain4Youth was launched in May 2023 and is expected to invest $10 million over the next five years. According to a study conducted by Bitget, the millennial and Generation Z generations play a significant role in shaping a cryptocurrency-friendly future, with millennials accounting for 46% of cryptocurrency enthusiasts.

In the future, Blockchain4Youth plans to offer more scholarships worldwide and launch more online courses, introducing cryptocurrency-related topics by different influential figures in the field to further attract the attention of young people.
