Tether Launches QVAC: AI Agents Capable of Autonomous Trading with Bitcoin and USDT
Stablecoin issuer Tether announces the launch of QVAC (QuantumVerse Automatic Computer)
A development platform designed for infinite intelligence, tailored for both humans and machines. It allows highly scalable AI applications and agents to run directly on local devices without relying on centralized services and cloud data. Through Tether’s WDK integration, AI agents can autonomously trade using Bitcoin and USDT. Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino emphasized that QVAC offers an open AI future with control in users’ hands.
QVAC: An AI Platform Operating Completely on User Devices
QVAC is designed for a new era of personal sovereignty, enabling AI models to operate entirely on users’ devices without cloud connectivity, ensuring greater privacy, autonomy, and resilience.
Its modular architecture allows developers to build and scale applications using small, composable components, while a peer-to-peer network facilitates direct communication and collaboration between devices without reliance on centralized servers. This unique architecture enables the QVAC ecosystem to scale to trillions of AI agents and applications without points of failure, providing the first unstoppable infinite intelligence swarm.
With QVAC, developers can build and deploy AI reasoning and agents on any smartphone, laptop, mainframe, embedded system, brain-computer interface, and a range of other hardware using a single framework, ensuring that AI applications can operate securely and independently whether connected to the internet or completely offline.
AI agents can autonomously trade using Bitcoin and USDT.
Tether’s WDK integration also allows AI agents to autonomously transact using Bitcoin and USDT, opening up new possibilities for decentralized, self-sustaining AI systems.
Upcoming AI Applications in Translation, Health, and More
Tether will soon introduce its first QVAC-based AI application, focusing on privacy protection and self-sovereignty. Initial applications include QVAC Translation, which can quickly transcribe and translate text, documents, images, and audio on-device without relying on the cloud; and QVAC Health, a private health tracker that fully localizes sensitive health data.
To accelerate innovation, Tether plans to open-source a comprehensive software development kit in the coming months, enabling developers to easily build, deploy, and scale their own QVAC agents on any device.
Paolo Ardoino: An Open AI Future with Control in Users’ Hands
Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated:
“Artificial intelligence should bring the next wave of growth for society and humanity, rather than delegating more control to companies that own servers and access keys. If you need an API key to use your AI, then it doesn’t truly belong to you. The birth of QVAC is meant to change that, localizing, privatizing, and enabling independence for AI, allowing users to regain control over their data, computation, and autonomy. Tether’s goal is to create the first open and ubiquitous platform through QVAC, supporting an unstoppable ecosystem of AI agents serving both humans and machines. The age of infinite intelligence has just begun.”
