Currently, the chatbot functionality is only available to Telegram Premium users. Premium users can chat with Grok’s official account by searching for it within the app and can use it for free thereafter.
This system integration enhances Telegram’s AI-driven messaging capabilities, and Grok will compete for market share with other messaging platforms such as WhatsApp and Line, owned by Meta AI. Grok provides AI conversational response features for Telegram Premium users, assists in task completion, and can even offer coding support.
Features like Grok Think and DeepSearch are still only available on the X platform or through the Grok application.
